CM makes three major announcements in launching programme in Khurai

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today launched the Kisan Bhavanter Bhugtan Yojana in Khurai of Sagar district. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan made three important announcements in the programme.

Chief Minister’s announcements

• The sales period for soybean will be increased to October 16 to December 31, 2017 from October 16 to December 15, 2017. Similarly, the sale period for maize will be extended till January 31, 2018 from October 16 to December 15, 2017.

• The average productivity of all the districts in a agriculture climate zone will be decided by taking out crop cutting figures of best three years of five years of particular crop in any one of the districts which are in the climate zone.

• The certificates will be given to farmer by Mandi on sale of the crop to registered farmer under the scheme. Quantity of the crop, sale rate, farmer’s registration number and date will be mentioned on the certificate.

Registration of offline applications on portal onOctober 17, 18, 19 and 20 too

 So far 16.80 lakh farmers have got registered online in the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana. Apart from this, the number of farmers who got registered through offline mode is 7 lakh. As part of interim arrangement, registration centres will remain open on October 17, 18, 19 and 20 to complete registration process for the farmers got registered through offline mode. Deadline for online and offline registration is over on October 15 under the scheme.
